Baby it's cold outside!
Sunday, February 25, 2018 Sunday fun day.
We didn’t get parent blocked for Nicole coming to church, she had to get a ride from her dad. She showed up and loved it.
Nothing really happened after church because the city is dead on Sundays.
When we got back though I gave myself my first haircut out of the mission and it was so hard because there’s no outlet in the bathroom so I have to go in blind. It turned out decent. 6/10
Monday, February 26, 2018 Ball out today!
Also known to some as P- day. Today I emailed almost everyone back. We went to the stake centre to play basketball for a few hours then sisters showed up and we played a game called “Doctor dodgeball“ ( look it up https://www.playworks.org/game-library/medic-dodgeball/ ) it was fun. Then we went to Argo‘s to buy a speaker so we can jam in the flat. I thought it would be like 1/3 smaller, like maybe 4“ x 5“, and it was like 24£, but it turns out it was like 12“ x 5“! It’s big! (note from mom... learn metric! ;) )
We had another lesson with Nicole and we taught with Scott Boyd, A member, and it went awesome! It sucks so much we have to hand her off to another ward's Elders. She even took notes and questions from her book of Mormon reading! 8/10

Tuesday, February 27, 2018 exchanges!
I hung out with Elder ?????. We found all day, OK success, it was fun learning from him. We also found out we can get reimbursed for utilities and we got paid today so we put like 30£ both into utilities so we can take baths and stuff now! 7.4/10
Wednesday, February 28, 2018 it’s… So… COLD!
Flip it, man, there’s a storm heading our way nicknamed “the beast from the east” coming from Siberia and it’s so cold outside. I wear tights (thermals) and trousers, then on top I had my shirt, another shirt, jumper (sweater), fleece coat, then my big jacket, plus my scarf, with gloves, and I was freezing all day…
GQ’d all day but at like 7:30 PM we went to use the toilet in the mall and I got done first and went across the place to sit on a couch. then I saw a girl that looked familiar, but I let her kind of pass because missionaries are not liked here. But she came up to me and asked if I owned a weird, bubble plastic igloo thing I was next to. I said no, then she asked if I was American, I said yes (people here love America) then she kind of got on top of me, like 6 inches from my face, and we started chatting. I thought she was going to kiss me. But I’m a missionary so I don’t do that! I went inside the bubble then Greenhalgh came over and we all sat in the bubble because it was cold outside. We chilled for like 30 to 40 minutes and set up a new appointment for tomorrow. 8/10 -4 because it’s cold!
Thursday, march 1, 2018 Red Alert!
I feel like they’re kind of wimps when it comes to extreme weather. It’s windy and cold but all of the mission cars are grounded and we can’t take public transportation. We were in city center and we got the call that everyone needs to get back to the flat. But, we had two must - have lessons in a few hours, so we got special permission to teach them. First lesson was with Joanna, and she’s super cool and she’s very interested. Then we had Sintu, who asked us when he could be baptized… Good! We then had dinner, then chilled at the church doing some ???. Also something awesome happened today. I got two free McFlurries so I had four! It was delicious! 8/10 very busy day.
Friday, March 2, 2018 another cold day of finding.
Set up a few appointments for Sunday. We just found all day. We had dinner at Stuarts with the sisters then had a snowball fight on the walk back to the city. Fun day 7/10
Saturday, March 3, 2018 8 1/2 hours of finding today.
Started off good, with walking into the city and finding a 20 pound note on a sidewalk, it was awesome! We found no one that day. I learned that they actually put naked people in newspapers… Greenhalgh told me, like day two, but I didn’t believe him. There was a newspaper on the ground at the Maxol and I opened it to the middle to catch up on news and the whole thing was a naked girl! This country needs us more than I thought… Today was like 5/10
