First church meeting on the miss. It went great! Psych! I screwed up hard-core. They asked me to bear testimony during sacrament meeting . I did, but when I said it was great being in the Scotland Ireland mission they started laughing before I could finish “Ireland” I didn’t know why, so I turned around to ask the bishopric what I did, they told me I was in northern Ireland… I’m like “duh!” I played it off and I made everyone laugh, finished, and sat down. After the meeting brother Potts, from like five pews behind me, called me out and pointed at me saying “Elder Hutchison, you’re an idiot.” So, first Sunday success! After, we went to city center to GQ then went home. 23,992 steps 9/10

P-DAY Went to library, emailed. Went to stake center, played sport, and then went and got dinner at Burger King with Greenhalgh. Then went to Primark to buy some slacks and sweaters. GQ’d then went home and fell asleep  21306 steps 8/4

Tuesday, February 13, 2018 

District meeting! So much fun! I taught a girl named Megan, we were at the Spirit, and so was she, but we had no idea what she looked like (she was behind us) it was a little awkward. Taught her, went well-ish, then we went to the church to be picked up for a dinner appointment. Went to the flat and studied. Then bed. 19,033 steps

Valentine’s Day! We went out to a date for lunch at Cuban Sandwich Factory. It was yummy. We went out finding, got some appointments for tomorrow. Got a new inner tube for our bikes so we can bike in to town rather than walking for an hour. I fixed the bikes as Greenhalgh made dinner. We then went to town to do a group chat, where we’ll meet up with the other Elders then invite people in for a group chat. Later I was standing and three 13-year-old girls walked up to me and we started talking, I ended up giving them little challenges: to mess with Greenhalgh. It was fun for a few minutes then I noticed one had to go P so I told her to go (so I could kind of dismiss them) then one of them said a little loudly “no, I want to play more games!“ and I was scared for some thoughts people would have about Mormons after hearing that, so I quickly got them to scatter. Biked home in 20 minutes.

We did a lot of Admin stuff today that I won't bore you with. We didn't have any lessons to go through today, but we set up a pretty good one for tomorrow that I hope shows up. We kind of chased down a family we thought were American tourists. I asked them what state they were from but it turned out they're from Norn I’ran (That's how they saw Northern Ireland) so it was a little bit awkward. Pretty average day. 22,721 steps

Today there was a zone leader conference so all the district leaders had a big meeting from 9-12 so I got to go on exchanges with Elder Killagour. He's a cool dude, fun to hang with but he would not GQ or stop anyone. So, I told him I'd spoil the new Star Wars if he didn't talk to 4 people in 45 minu. He got zero! He so confident but for some reason he couldn't stop anyone. After, an awesome sister from the Hollywood Ward, took like 12 Elders to Cosmo's (a high end buffet) it was super good and I had lots of desserts. After, Greenhalgh picked up some meat and we went to the flat. We then went back to City Centre to GQ. Also learned some slang for people: 

Chav- kind of a troubled/trashy kid.  

Waster- an investigator that wastes time.  

Junkie- Chavs that are grown up.  

Fit- "what?"

Chief- "Anyone.... "how ya doing chief"  

They say "so I am", and  "just" after everything! "What's your name?" "Ryan just"...
